Founded in 1970, Cooperativa Agroindustrial Copagril is the result of the union of a small group of the farmers of western Paraná region, in southern Brazil. With headquarter in Marechal Cândido Rondon, is physically present in ten other cities of Paraná state ad three more in Mato Grosso do Sul state, also attending partners of neighboring cities.
Currently, Copagril has approximately 5 thousand farmers associates that give their dedication and support on agricultural productions, especially of soybeans and corn, and on livestock, poultry, dairy cattle, pig and fish farming. The diversity of the activities is one of the keywords of Copagril success, because it gives options and different income sources to the farmer associate.
Copagril believes that, in the future, to attend the world demand for food, the technology and cooperative union will be essential, because it generates the balance of searching for the best productivity with environmental development, the sustainability and the core values, as ethic and cooperation between people.
